Trail abusers

I just got word that if anyone finds a rig abusing the trails, particularly the High Lakes or an area of Lassen N.F. and they take pictures of the abuse and license plates, they WILL get a ticket.

For the High Lakes area you can send such pictures and your statement to:

Yes, there is now far more LEO presence than in the past 15 years,  but WE can and should do far more, with as you state, caution,  than we have in the past.

Since the LEO can't be everywhere all the time, and we usually are, we can. And Lassen N.F. assures me they will deal with it, also unlike in the past.

Just don't get hurt doing it.

Allright  hopefully all folks will relize that when you do a run it is'nt a free for all out in the wilderness to do whatever you want.Thanks for posting the info Ken.

Considering how many times I've said "where's a ranger when you need them", this sounds like the next best thing.  It only takes one or two bad apples to spoil it all, this should  be a good tool to help us hopefully keep the High Lakes area open.  Thanks Ken
