When we get to draft DEIS we *NEED* to do the same thing.
Our situation is vastly different though. They are under a law suit to force the ELDO to speed up, and get 'er done, and we (yet) don't have those restrictions.
We're further complicated with the "emergency forest order", which forces the closures. That isn't the case there.
What we are doing now can and "should" begin to shape what the draft DEIS looks like though, so *IF* we can do a super job with the draft plan, as we are doing now, it may not be as disastrous as ELDO.
I wish we had time for this phase to get more professional as MyBlueCruiser has done. But we *DO* have time for the next step. Where we are isn't any where near the end as they are.
Lets get ready though.
