Our local lookout towers provide invaluable protection during times of wildfire danger. Have you been wanting to help our Lookout towers beyond donating the funds to keep them occupied? Now is your chance.
Cal Fire/Butte County Fire is looking for paid volunteers to staff the Bald Mountain and Sawmill Lookout towers in 12-hour shifts. Volunteers will be paid $10 per hour for the first 40 hours worked in a week and $15 per hour for every hour after that in a week.
