Way to go wally....now about this forest road between Inskip and Butte Meadows.....
K6FHL Repeater 146.700(-) PL 110.9 for coverage in the High Lakes and beyond, is linked to the W6SCR Repeater 145.290(-) PL 110.9 on Platte Mtn. for coverage into the Sacramento Valley.

That isn't USFS System road, but County.

And so far Butte County is giving Region 5 the finger on restricting it.

Not a real final answer, yet, but Butte County filed an appeal on that part of the EIS (as well as on economic impacts)

So the only problem appears to be Region 5, as we've know for at least a year.   But end-running them in Washington D.C. may have some impact.  Kudos to Wally and McClintock for trying.

But.......    it appears, this year will see Inskip to Butte Meadows blacktopped, which takes it out of the ML 3-5 gravel ( native surface ) arena, and MAY pose a problem that has to be fought on a different level.

It WOULD help the Philbrook Lake to Lotts Lake "T", though, if we don't solve that one a different way.

We can thank Sylvia Milligan ( Recreation Outdoor Coalition ) for her relentless efforts to get this to happen.
