For those of you who know Mike Lazzarino, who founded and chaired Sierra Access Coalition, a hard working land use warrior, I'm saddened to report he passed away last night after losing a medical battle.
He was indeed among our heros for his efforts in saving and helping a lot of Plumas National Forest for OHV use, and he cared deeply for the High Lakes area as well.
May Corky and his family have our thanks for Mike's work, and our condolances on our great loss of a Land Use Warrior.
